Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

innovation in biologic tissue regeneration haemostatics. Autologous Platelet Rich Plasma (RegenKitTM) contains platelets that stop the bleeding.

Biologic Glue

RegenKitTM contains fibrin that glues the tissues.

Tissue Regeneration

RegenKitTM contains growth factors that trigger cell migration and division
RegenKitTM enriched with dermal cells (ExtraCellTM) enhances epidermisation

What is PRP?

Plasma with a higher concentration of platelets than whole blood (usually 2-5x).

  • Intradermal and subdermal injection of PRP produces a thin fibrin clot with high numbers of activated platelets within it
  • This functions as a bio-scaffold with the platelets releasing their chemical signals
  • Release of Growth Factors by platelets in their      biologically determined ratios
  • Formation of a 3-dimensional fibrin network
  • Chemo-attraction of macroghages and stem cells
  • Stem Cell proliferation (mitosis)
  • Stem Cell differentiation
  • PRP prior to Cosmetic procedures primes the skin with increased concentrations of growth factors and stem cells essential for wound healing
  • Priming tissues with PRP prior to treatment with collagen stimulation modalities such as Laser, IPL, Skin Needling etc may potentiate the results of these modalities
